We're happy to announce that FileSeek 5.0 is now available for download! This release features a slightly modified interface, support for Group Policy (with ADMX templates for almost every setting), and a bunch of other improvements as well!

FileSeek 5.0 Highlights

• Updated user interface with support for per-monitor DPI scaling in Windows 10
• Search result columns can now be customized
• Added multi-column sorting (hold shift when clicking the 2nd+ columns)
• Search Profiles can now be exported/imported locally
• Group Policy support (with ADMX templates)
• Resolved an issue where FileSeek tried to open shell32.dll when double-clicking a file
• Many other stability, performance, and bug fixes

New Results View Settings

We're happy to announce that we've added a new license type for FileSeek Pro: The FileSeek Pro Personal Home License.

This license type allows you to install FileSeek Pro on unlimited computers in your home, as well as one computer at work, provided that you're the sole user of the work computer.

At only $15, it costs less than 3 FileSeek Pro Standard licenses, so if you have multiple computers at home, it's definitely a great choice! You can also upgrade from FileSeek Pro Standard to FileSeek Pro Personal Home at any time. If you would like more details on upgrading, please contact us.

We're happy to announce that FileSeek 4.5 is now available for download! This release contains a few important fixes and changes:

• The auto-updater now has an "Install on Exit" option
• You can now use the text query engine in the Includes/Excludes Files fields
• Fixed an issue where removing results from the list would mess the list up
• Matches in the lines before/after are now also highlighted
• Fixed some 32-bit Windows issues

• Greatly improved performance and memory usage for searches that return millions of results
• Added a new command line option for RegEx queries (-r "regex-query")
• Added a "Cut Selected Files" option to the results context menu
• The "Export Results to CSV" options will now use the system List Separator instead of defaulting to a comma

Search with Excel Preview

We're happy to announce that FileSeek 4.3 is now available for download! This release contains a few important fixes and changes:

• Added a new tab in the Settings window for controlling Preview Handlers
• Added an option to the Settings > Search tab to allow CSV/HTML exports to show lines before and after the matched text
• Improved memory usage when a lot of results are returned
• FileSeek will no longer crash when previewing a file that has a corrupt preview handler
