Hi!

After installing FileSeek, my F3 key stopped working. I uninstalled FileSeek to see if that was the problem, but still no F3. Tested with another keyboard, still not working.
Any idea what's going on?

FileSeek doesn't have any hotkeys, and doesn't use the F3 key at all. I'm not sure that FileSeek has anything to do with your issue, it seems like more of a coincidence. I'm interested to see if anyone on SuperUser can help you sort it out, I'm a bit stumped. :)

Problem solved, was related to my keyboard's firmware setting (to my defense, it did seem to get into an undefined state).

Sorry for questioning your software!
You have to admit that when F3 gets strange precisely after installing a search program, you get suspicious! What are the odds?

That is very strange indeed! Thanks for following-up, I'm glad to hear you got it sorted out. :)
