I've looked through the help, but I can't work out if I can use FileSeek for this task.

I want to search through a whole tree of folders and get FileSeek to show me all the folders that don't have a file called folder.jpg in them ?

Is this possible ?

Thanks,

Nigel

FileSeek can't do this, unfortunately, but I did a quick search, and I think you could do this with a Powershell script. I'd be happy to do up an example if you're not sure where to start with that :)

That would be great, Keith, and much appreciated. Please don't spend a lot of time on it, though !

Many thanks,

Nigel

The attached PowerShell script should work. Found it here: http://superuser.com/questions/916769/find-folder-without-certain-file-in-powershell

Hope that helps!

Thanks Keith. The options presented on that thread have done the job.

I know I could have just Googled that myself, but was keen to see if Fileseek could perform the operation.

Cheers,

Nige
