Using FileSeek inside Zip files

Hello,

I checked the FAQ and other thread without finding a solution.

I have series of zip files with txt files inside.
I need to check inside those txt file for a simple number.

FileSeek seems to find the zip file, but shows 0 result.

Search using handler is checked.
I do have an handler for zip files.
Using latest W10 x64 version (1903)

Can you help me ?

I'm not sure that the built-in Windows one really works. Could you try this ZIP file handler? It's free for personal use.

Searching a number (here 3739)
Inside a text file inside a zip file

File is searched, no results

Ah my bad, sorry. The ZIP filter will allow you to search for file names inside a ZIP file, but not in the contents of the files in the ZIP. We do have an open feature request for the ability to have FileSeek unzip files, then search the contents, so I will add your vote to that.
