Are you trying to change the interface language? Or the character set for searching?

To set a custom file encoding for FileSeek, follow these steps:

  • Open the FileSeek Settings window
  • Click the 'Advanced Settings' button
  • In the value called 'Custom File Encoding Value', put 'windows-1250'
  • Click OK to close that window, then OK again to save your settings

Your next search will use that codepage to search through your files.

I hope this works for you!

Now it works great. Thank you very much.
FileSeek is not faster than Total Commander,
but it shows all four lines found.
and TC files only.
