Seems if I do a search on c:\ for *.* using a blank query w/ Match Full String, and use the advance options to limit the file creation date I get almost every file on my system back? Not sure why... if I use *.exe though, the range limitation appears to work... am I doing something wrong? I want to be able to search for all files created on system between a specific set of datetimes.
I think the search results are a bit confusing, as the Created Date isn't one of the columns in the search results. So a file might have been created within the filter range, but modified outside of it.
I've added a feature request to our list to add the Created Date to the search results.
