Hi,

We want to start using Fileseek, but want to have it in Dutch. Is this possible?

Translating (and managing the translations) requires a significant amount of time and money, and unfortunately I don't have enough of either to add other languages to FileSeek right now, sorry.

But can we (the community) also translate things for you?
Or is the source of Fileseek too difficult to accomplish that?

If there's a way, I would like to translate it into dutch.. :-)

Integrating the translations isn't too difficult, but coordinating the translations is quite time-consuming. One thing that I have found with DisplayFusion is that it can weeks for the everyone to submit the completed translations, which means each release gets delayed for weeks.

Hi,

I also love this program and though I have no problems using the english version, many friends and colleagues complain about it.

Maybe you could just program fileseek to look for some ini-file on startup and otherwise start in english?
No need to coordinate anything, just the community would get a chance to localize this great tool.

i'd really appreciate it - and know some dozens who would too :-)

Hey all, we've started working on setting up the translation system for FileSeek. It's not quite as easy as just providing a text file with the translated strings unfortunately, but we'll plug away at it and eventually you'll be able to translate it into whatever language you like.

I'll post another update when it's ready.
