Rather than having to right-click and select 'Close' to close a tab, it would be helpful to put an 'x' on each tab. To close the tab just click the 'x'. The editor UltraEdit does it this way (see attached screen shot).

The last post here was 2020. I hope you really consider adding the "x" to close a tab to eliminate this annoyance.
This isn't something we've added in but we do still have it open on our feature reqeust list so I've added your vote to it.
