Is it possible to delete an individual Path entry from the Path(s) drop down history options list?

For example, in Internet Explorer (arrgh! right? lol), if you have multiple prior entries in a similar drop-down entry pane that stores history, and discover a typo or obsolete entry (e.g. username / password), you could click=highlight an entry, click the Delete key, and that single entry is removed, conveniently leaving all the valid/desired others (which in the case of fileseek, could be numerous as well).

A right mouse click context menu option to do this, or a e.g, "Delete path entry" button even, if possible, would be super handy.

:)
thanx---

There actually isn't currently a way to do this, so I've added it to our feature request list :)

In the meantime, you can manually edit the history by editing the "LastUsedXXXXX" values in the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Binary Fortress Software\FileSeek

Not ideal, but hopefully a good enough workaround for now :)

Thanks --including appreciation for the Registry tip as an option.

(scratchin' my chin here, regarding which would likely be quicker, wiping them all out and browse-picking 'em back up, or diggin into the registry black hole... lol j/k deff a good enough work around option for now!) ;)

Mostly a ":bump:" here (or the Monty Python "nudge-nudge"? lol). Just to keep interest in this feature request known.

Meanwhile, while not a programmer myself to say the least, i wonder if what most browsers i've used have as a feature might work for fileseek --that being, a.) the ability to open one of the five drop-down lists in fileseek's Search window, b.) move the cursor to highlight the desired line entry, c.) and with it highlighted, click the Delete key on the keyboard, and see that entry removed.?

Thanks.

Thanks for checking in! We looked into this, and because we're using the .NET Framework combo box control, we don't actually have any control over that functionality. In order to add this, we'd need to create our own custom combo box. If we end up doing that in the future, we'll definitely post an update in this thread :)

Thanks!
