I am trying to export lines after and before a search result in csv file, but it is not possible- or did i miss something. It is only export line with result -as is shown on picture.
I am wondering is it possible to add this functionality in next version? And something important .. FileSeek is great tool, it's really helped me in my work. :) Thanks for your time, Bojan • Attachment [protected]: Export to csv-file seek.png [216,182 bytes]

Glad to hear you like FileSeek! I'll add this to our feature request list and we'll be sure to let you know when we're able to implement it :)

We've just released FileSeek 4.4 and it now has this feature. On the Settings > Search tab, just make sure to enable the "Also export extra lines when saving search results" option :)

This will not work for me in 6.1 Pro. Am I missing something? Can you help me please? Extra lines are visible in search result but not in export files.

@Andreas: Do you have the "Also export extra lines when saving search results" option enabled on the FileSeek Settings > Search tab? Also note that with CSV files, if you open them in Excel, the extra lines may not be visible at first glance, but double-clicking on the cell should show the full thing.

Hello Keith,
yes I've set this option. I look at the CSV with my editor so I see the whole code where lines are missing. I get a new idea. Maybe its because I've removed the column "line". - Now I see that it works if I activate this column again. Maybe you can fix this or at least leave a hint somewhere that lines will not get exported if this column is disabled. Jul 10, 2018

Just to double-check, is your export missing the before/after rows or are your exports missing the columns that you've disabled? Thanks!

I missed the before/after rows.
But now with this column activated I do not miss the before/after rows. I did not expect that the export misses those lines if this column is deactivated. I don't want this column to be active but want the before/after rows in the export. Jul 16, 2018

I've added the option to also export hidden columns to our feature request list and we'll be sure to let you know if/when we're able to implement it in a future version :)
