Did the folder name contain invalid characters?
I had file server where a users data folder had somehow got a bunch of subfolders all named "2...". So these showed in explorer as named "2...". FS would not delete them; maybe because they contained data. I had to use delimon. Now if I try to recreate them The file system knows the are called "2..." but shows them as just "2".
Hi Jon and Keith,
I don't know if I have asked for this before but could us add a right click feature that only appears if a folder that is returned by the search - basically "Delete selected folder(s)"? this would use the same functionality to be able to files with incorrect path lengths or characters.
I had a bunch of users creating sub folders who's names were "2...". The OS would not delete them and folder deletion does not seem to be available in FileSeek.
I had to use Delimon to get rid of them.
Regards,
Pete
