Please ignore post - just found source of the problem.
The option 'Show filenames that match the "include files" filter wasn't ticked'.
Not sure how/when that happened.
Excellent software by the way

Hi

I've been running version 3.x on a windows XP machine for several years, I recently upgraded to version 4.5, probably about 6 weeks ago, however since doing that when running searches, it's failed to find anything even files that I know exist. I've just upgraded to version 5 to see if that helps. It didn't.

Is there a minimum spec for this software? Is XP still supported?

I have all advanced options turned off, as in no min/max sizes or date restrictions , so I'm somewhat baffled, any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks
