However, there isn't a way to restrict the folder's that will get searched. It will show folder name matches, but it won't avoid folders that don't match, sorry. First, I'd like to echo everyone else and thank you for such a great utility. FileSeek is my primary search tool. I appreciate the work you put into it.

Second, is there a way to do matching on the path?

Can I start at "C:\Files" and look for *.txt files in folders that match (for example) "2009*"? This would look for *.txt files in "C:\Files\200902" and "C:\Files\200901", but not in "C:\Files\200812".

I tried putting a wildcard match in the Path field, "C:\Files\2009*" but it failed it as an invalid path. Putting the wildcard match in the Include field, such as "2009*\*.txt", finds no matches when I know it should.

This is a simplistic example. My actual search would have me searching over a hundred folders individually.
