Try changing the regional settings on your PC to use English (United Kingdom) i.e. change it in the control panel, not within the fileseek settings as that makes no difference to the issue, then restart fileseek and then do the test again!!

I've also created another account to make sure there wasn't something weird about the one I was using.

Have a look at the attached - it's essentially me doing what you did. Note that I've tried this on Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2008 so I don't think it's an OS related issue.

Hi Keith,

I've noticed something strange about profiles. I spotted this because I was working on one machine to build/test a query and then running it for real on a server and I was using the profile sync to transfer over the query however the issue is not about synchronisation as you can experience the problem locally. Try the following:

1. Create a query of what ever you want but make sure there are no date filters set at all
2. Save the query by saving as a new profile - I called mine "Test"
3. Re-load the profile you just created and nothing should change - this is as expected
4. Now go to the Date Filters tab and enable the first Date Created date filter by ticking in the box. Then switch back to the search tab
5. re-save the profile by overwriting the profile (Test) that you previously created i.e. you should just be updating the profile with date filter information.
6. Now re-load the profile that you just saved - your query will disappear

It appears that as soon as you enable any kind of date filer, then when you save a profile you actually save a blank query so when you reload, you blank your original query.
