In the Settings > Advanced Settings window, set the "General > Line Range of Search" option to however many lines you want your query to look through.

Thanks for your answer. Yes I have tried to select the "Match query to entire file" option however it doesn't help me a lot, because I just want to extend the matching range from one line to few paragraphs, and not to the entire file...
perhaps is there another trick that I can use from the program settings?

I am looking at some accident databases (all in .doc document) and I wanted to know if it is possible to extend the matching range of the query? To be better understood, here is an example:

1) I want to search in some documents the parts where the word "nickel" appears and in its region, either the word "fatalities" or "injuries" must appear.
2) I write in the query field: +nickel +(injuries fatalities) and click on search.

Some results appear however it seems that the program forgot some positive results and namely some results of this kind:

"Fatalities in the Iron Mining Site - Dailynews San Diego. 12th January
[....] Staff were evacuated from the nickel mining site, shortly after 01:30 prior to the controlled explosion, of “an unstable chemical’.
In total there were 3 injuries"

=> this kind of part are not recorded by the program... it appears that the search don't look for paragraphs that are below or above the first query match (i.e. nickel in this case) but stops at the first/previous line break...

As stated above, my question is: is it possible to extend the search in the region of the first match? in other words: extend the matching range between the two groups of words: nickel & (fatalities injuries) ?

Or perhaps is there somebody who have a solution that overcomes this issue?
