Could you try saving and extracting the attached file to a temporary folder, and then move the extracted file to the C:\Program Files (x86)\FileSeek folder, overwriting the old one? That will force FileSeek to use .NET 4.x instead of 2.x.

Please let me know how that works out and we'll proceed from there.

• On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "Logging: Important Only"
• Restart FileSeek
• Reproduce the crash and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
• Send us the FileSeek.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
• Disable debug logging after sending the log

But I have some problems on searching. If I check to use handlers for saerching to get better results, than I have problems with some pdf, odt, doc files. In the sreenshot you will see, that some files are ok and some files not, even if they are maybe the same. What is the probleme here?
