The only difference I found was that my OffFilt.dll was a higher version than yours: 2006.0.5732.0

Could you send me a copy of your OffFilt.dll so I can test it out?

Also, is it only that number specifically? Or does it not find any values in number formatted cells?

In both cases, fileseek did not find 222764.

I have offfilt.dll version 2006.0.5730.0. I tried disabling the file handler--still no good.

I can find the number when it's part of a text string (like a222764), or when it's a literal text string ('222764), but not when it's just a number.
