If you just put both of those in the query box like below, it will match either one

"error in log file" "log file error"

The space is an implied "OR"

is there a setting to do this ?

eg: search for "error in log file" but also match on "log file error"

ie: using the match whole string makes the search very exact, but you might miss the result you are after due to incorrect word position in the string
