PS - it doesn't depend on the cyrillic at all, with a word written in Latin letters the same thing happens.

PSS - settings: I put *.doc|*.docx in the "include files" field and I put the word I'm searching for in the "query" field. That's it.

Searching without file handlers won't work for Word documents because they're not plain text files. Searching with file handlers should work though. Could you do another search, and then export the results (right-click the results and choose "Export All Results As CSV" so that I can see the errors?

HOWEVER, and more important, note that WITHOUT file handlers, I have nothing - that is, it doesn't find things that have the search term. And WITH file handlers I'm still getting things other than temp files that DON'T have the search term. It looks like those files are temporary files that the Office file handler can't open. You can safely ignore those errors, and prevent them from showing up in the results by disabling the "Show an error when a file/folder can't be accessed" option in FileSeek Tools > Settings.

I just uninstalled fileseek and installed the latest version fresh, so everything should be there.

But this is a long-standing issue. And since the results seem wrong either way (that is, even with file handlers disabled), the problem seems broader.

Thoughts?
